Apparatus

The research data collection and analysis is undertaken through the following methods:

Method for collecting the data: an episodic interview which consists of three parts, introduction, unstructured development of personal story, structured questions for further clarifications.

Method for studying the data is Narrative Analysis: it deals with narrative elements, structures and themes leading to understanding the conceptualisation and development of the latter.

The following tools are used for conducting the research:

Interviews will be recorded using Olympus digital voice recorder WS-560M with internal memory.

Interviews will be transcribed using the following two programmes:

• Express Scribe Pro Transcription Software (Version 5.43) [Computer software]. Greenwood Village CO: NCH Software.

• Dragon Naturally Speaking (Version 11) [Computer software]. Burlington, MA: Nuance Communications.

The transcribed data is introduced and analysed through MAXQDA (MAXQDAplus.Version 10. [Computer software]. Berlin: VERBI GmbH.).
